Dayparting

An advanced way of buying search terms, where you try to figure out when people who buy are most likely to be in the market by time of day or day of the week and bid more on particular search terms based on the higher chance of conversion to sale given the particular daypart.

This idea is not new.  Network TV has always been available for purchase by day part for decades.  What is new is the fact that the major search engines and web-analytic tools are starting to recognize dayparting as an added-value way to buy and are developing tools to support professional search-engine marketers.
