Albatross

Literally means a large web-footed birds of the southern hemisphere having long narrow wings; noted for powerful gliding flight.  Figuratively stands for something that looks elegant on a superficial level but ends up being more of a hindrance or a handicap; “she was an albatross around his neck”.  Relevant example:  Enterprise CRM deployments.  For a list of links that are on point see Dissing CRM.
